Sharing in the Joy of the Fat Kid

Be rejoiced, brothers and sisters. For today is the day you may embrace the Fat Kid.

The Fat Kid tells us so much about life. Where we doubt, the Fat Kid is clear. Where we fret, the Fat Kid tells us to be calm.

Look at him. Do you see him fretting the test he has in the morning?

You do not.

Does he worry if the head quarterback is going to ask him to the dance?

Certainly not!

Does he worry that he is overweight?

Most OBVIOUSLY not.

He is merely joyous. And can't we fit a little Fat Kid into all our lives? Can't we see that he is here to guide us? To help us? Look at him! He seems to say "I'm fat and retarded but goddammit, I'm happy"! Be praised, Fat Kid. We have heard your message and it is a message of peace!
